Beginning this October, the PRINOTH “Test Drive Days” will be making a contribution to making drivers even more professional.

Professionalism Initiative for Drivers
Specially trained instructors using theoretical and practical training units will convey how to react in specific situations as well as providing economic and efficient utilization of the snow groomer. The training will be held in small groups.
A number of practical exercises will be carried out directly with the snow groomer.
Not only does the systematic introduction of drivers to the topic of slope grooming increase slope quality and safety, it should also help to reduce costs in the area of pre¬paration. Because up to a certain point, the degree of the driver’s training influences factors such as efficiency, fuel consumption, frequency of repairs, and the expected life of the snow groomer.
Topics will be:
- Preparation of the slope before starting the season (fundamental preparation)
- Maintaining quality of the piste and safety on the piste during the season
- Tips for reducing operation costs
- Preparation of steep slopes – winch application
The 2-day-course will be held at the Stilfser Joch (South Tyrol, Italy) in the week of October 19th to the 23rd The course language will be Italian and German.
