High technology and Italian design make the difference
The highest mountain, the most modern ropeway and a complete order in Abertamy with three chair lifts, snow making equipment and snow groomers. In only two years, LEITNER ropeways has set the standard for ski areas in the Czech Republic. Innovative solutions and ambitious design improve the skiing experience and provide important competitive advantages to the ski areas.
In 2010, in &268ervená Voda on Buková Hora, LEITNER ropeways completed the first CD4 chair lift in the Czech Republic with seat heating and weather protection bubbles. Only two years following the construction of the most modern chair lift in the Czech Republic, construction was launched on another lift of this type. LEITNER ropeways won the tender to construct two CD4 chair lifts and one CF4 chair lift for the buildup of the ski area Plešivec. Plešivec will be an exceptional reference project for the LEITNER Group. In addition to the lifts, by the beginning of the 2013/2014 winter season a complete snow making system from DEMACLENKO will be installed with a fully-automatic pumping station and central pressurized air system. It has a cooling system as well as 15 fan guns and 30 snow lances. PRINOTH will deliver one snow groomer. This will allow the LEITNER Group to position itself as a complete service provider for winter sport technology in the Czech Republic as well. For LEITNER ropeways, Plešivec is another strategically important order which sets a clear standard.
In 2011, with the construction of a GD4 ropeway on Sn&283žka, at 1,602 meters the highest mountain in the Czech Republic and one of the most important tourist destinations in the country, LEITNER won a very prestigious order. The 3.7 kilometer gondola lift will enter into operation in 2014. It is being constructed as a replica with support towers drawing on the design of the previous 50+ year-old lift along the same route. Evidence of the design skills of LEITNER ropeways. The latest order for a CF4 chair lift in Kop&345ivná in Malá Morávka, which the constructor only received a few days ago, is further proof of the success of LEITNER ropeways in the Czech Republic. The installation expands the ski area in the Moravian-Silesian Region and will enter into operation in the 2012/2013 winter season.
