Diamond peak is across the lake on the Nevada side of Tahoe. Lots of steep runs and lots of flat. Check out the website. When it is a east storm they get the best powder. By the way, for the less experts, LMC (Logan Manufacturing Company) was owned by the same prpoprietary of DMC, who manufactured the car "DeLorean", become famous in "Back to the future" movies. How little is the world! About performances, I can't say anything since I never saw one in action. That was the biggest mistake in snowcat history until the Japanese took it and fixed all the hydraulic problems. Good cat for digging out lifts but not pushing. Cfs(cab forward) basically the 3700c with a big forward cab. The steering wheel was cool but the cfs sticks had no intercooler and was very hard to groom with in warm weather. The Gran Field is a pure japanese model friends in Japan ran them. The DeerForte is the 260 LMC revamped. Thomas Tovang 21.02.2007 - 18.48 Jeg har noen bemerkninger ang. fresen og særlig skjæret! Synes den klatret greit på det føret vi hadde med regn nede og snø oppe. Synes det ristet litt i overkant mye, men det kan skyldes slitte gummidempere? Eneste jeg angrer på er at jeg ikke fikk Claus til å demonstrere basskassa som står bak leggene på sjaføren. Lurer på hvordan det rister i hytta med "Rainmaker" på full guffe. Det er forresten en Iron Maiden låt for de som ikke visste det... Det skal jeg få sjekket neste gang jeg er på de kantene av landet.
