Continuous advancements guarantee one thing above all else: the perfect piste whatever the snow conditions.Even the international skiing elite themselves are relying on PRINOTH’s quality promise at the 2013 World Championships in Schladming.
Endless slopes, perfectly prepared, visitors clamor, knees spistepistehake, adrenaline levels rise. The competition is about to start. The interaction of many different factors is required to produce optimum competing conditions. At speeds of up to 130 km/h competitors do not only need sophisticated technology, heaps of courage, high physical strength and nerves of steel, but also and most importantly the perfect slope to get them to the finish line as quickly as possible.
As the exclusive supplier of the Planai and Hochwurzen ski lifts for Schladming 2013, PRINOTH is responsible for producing optimal piste conditions during the World Championships. Just like in sports, the result is what counts. “A good piste is the most important thing in winter sports. The piste conditions form the basis of the competition. If they’re not optimal, even the race will become difficult,” says Prok. Karl Höflehner, technical director of Planai ski lifts. A beautiful piste surface demonstrates clean tilling. The POWER tiller can prepare any terrain no matter what the snow conditions. “The tilling result is deeper and more fine-grained, which significantly prolongs the life of the piste,” states Karl Höflehner.¨
Cost effectiveness at the highest performance
Another key advantage of the POWER tiller is its efficiency. The special design concept increases service life and ensures balanced weight distribution. Particularly robust cutting teeth prevent wear and ensure long-lasting product quality. The particular arrangement of the cutting teeth leads to a lower r.p.m. and reduces the fuel consumption of the snow groomer.
Sustainability and ecology at the “Green World Championships”
23 vehicles in classic green and white, the colors of Styria, will ensure perfectly prepared World Championship runs in January. The “Green World Championships" in the heart of Styria will not only focus on performance, but will also appeal to our ecological conscience. PRINOTH is making a clear statement in terms of environmental protection by entering the new LEITWOLF, the first Euromot III B compliant snow groomer, and its Husky E-motion, into the race. Together with the new LEITWOLF, the diesel-electric variant of the agile all-rounder is the frontrunner when it comes to clean technology. The BEAST will also be there on the start line. Thanks to its unusually large working width of 7.1 m, the BEAST achieves an area coverage that is roughly 40 larger than other snow groomers which, in combination with the high preparation speed, ensures significant cost savings
