Technoalpin to demo in Scotland Lagt til av: Ole Kristoffer Hole Olsen | publisert: 21.11.2011 Along with Glencoe, Cairngorm Mountain, Scotland are awaiting delivery of a Technoalpin snow cannon c/w portable pump, on a free trial for the season. After a successful meeting at the NASAA conference (The North Atlantic Ski Areas Association) in Iceland earlier in the year, and after site visits near the end of the summer, it was confirmed that Technoalpin Cannons would be trialled with a technician also helping to set up Due to a lot of technical difficulties with another make of cannon last season, they were unable to use it enough to gauge its benefits. The structure and weather conditions of the ski resorts in both Iceland and Scotland, are similar and this is the reason that sharing information together in NASAA is hoped to help. After other successful trials and partnerships between Iceland with Technoalpin, Scotland is hopeful to gain from their experience and offer great snowmaking this season.
